An Associate role at Aveus.

Aveus is looking for smart, thoughtful individuals interested in joining a growing consulting firm.  An associate role is challenging and dynamic providing you the opportunity to contribute to our client work and the development of our business.  The exposure you receive to different clients and different problems will provide you tremendous opportunity for growth and learning.  You will be an integral member of our client engagement teams working directly with clients and Aveus team members to develop client solutions and recommendations.  Because Aveus is primarily a consulting, project and programs based organization, specific assignments develop based on a variety of factors from week to week.

Some specific examples of responsibilities include:

  • Participate as a key associate on a field engagement team. Work may be domestic or international; typically work on one to three client engagements at a time
  • Lead some sub team assignments or aspects of projects
  • Develop presentation and documentation materials for team projects
  • Create models and quantitative tools to support project and Aveus work
  • Ability to collect, analyze and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data and explain potential conclusions and implications
  • Represent the full portfolio of Aveus services and advocate for Aveus within clients and across your networks when possible
  • Manage project costs and engagement outcomes for a portfolio of clients
  • Anticipate extended services within our existing client base and elevate additional opportunities that you see to a partner so they can pursue them
  • Assist in the development of Aveus talent and participating in hiring resources
  • Work with other Aveusians to architect engagement models and improve current Aveus engagement processes to create a standardized approach
  • Work on internal Aveus marketing and administrative development teams and assignments

Skills and background requirements:

  • BA in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance
  • 1 – 2 years’ work experience in a business analyst, project or consulting role
  • Excellent quantitative skills
  • Strong critical thinking abilities
  • Written and oral presentation skills
  • Demonstrate excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Undergraduate or other course work in Excel preferred
  • Open to travel on a consistent basis
  • Maturity and poise to operate in a variety of client situations
  • Self-directed and organized
